Hurlers secure Nicky Rackard status

A strong final quarter from Tyrone was enough to secure Nicky Rackard status from Tyrone. After racing into an early first half lead, inspired by Damian Casey and a Matthew Mulgrew goal, Tyrone led 1-9 to 0-8 at the interval, A Fermanagh goal in the 50th minute cut the deficit to the minimum at 1-12 to 1-11 but a superb final 20 minutes including goals from Casey and Sean Og Grogan was enough to ensure Nicky Rackard Hurling for 2017.
