Clogher Éire Óg’s have Lift Off For Community Family Fun Day 19th July
After months of meticulous planning and organisation the Entertainments & Social Sub Committee of Clogher Éire Óg’s have pulled together yet another exciting and entertaining line up of Events and Activities to suit all sorts both Young and Old in their now Annual Community Family Fun Day.
Sunday 19th July all roads will lead to St. Patrick’s Park in Clogher for a fun filled day of exciting challenges and frolics to cater for all ages. The proceedings get under way at 2pm with at the Pitch. There are 3 Giant Bouncing Castles, Youth Races, Face Painting, Children’s Mobile Pet Farm including all the Farmyard Animals favourites and Pony Rides, Penalty Kick Challenge (Special Celebrity Guest), Toddlers Play Area plus Kids Tractor Rides
Adult Activities Sports events for the Bigger Kids.
This year the Club have invited the Local Sporting Clubs to join them, namely the Clogher Valley Rugby Club plus the Clogher Cricket Club as well as the Fivemeiletown United Soccer team will take part in a series of Coaching across the Codes and Mini Games sessions. Teams from all 3 codes plus the Clubs own Youth players will take part. in a number of mixed mini games. Also appearing will be the Knockmany Runners whose Coaches will be on hand to promote “Running For Fun” as well as “Jogging to stay in Trim”.
Representatives from the Clogher Valley Sure Start will be present to demonstrate all the Events and opportunities they have on offer for all the Families of the Community.
There will be an All Day Bar-B-Cue on site and the day’s events round off with the Annual Married Men V. The Single Men Challenge game with many of the former Éire Óg’s legends togging out again to dawn the Maroon and White jersey. Last year the glorious weather brought out huge crowds to take part in an action packed day of Fun for all the Family, so make it a date and a warm Welcome awaits one and all. There will be something to suit everyone.
