Following a consultation with clubs and a long period of planning Tyrone is about to launch a brand new coaching programme for underage players in Tyrone. Out goes the term ‘Development Squad’ and in comes the ‘Acadamh Thir Eoghain’. New coaching officer Benny Hurl has recently sent out an email to clubs seeking nominations for trials for Acadamh 15, Acadamh 16 and Acadamh 17 which are due to take place next Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March.

Could I please ask you to nominate up to 3 players from your club for each age group (ie Acadamh15 x 3, Acadamh16 x 3, Acadamh17 x 3) to attend a trial for the squads in 2015.
Nominations are required for…
Acadamh 15 – Players born between 1st January 2000 and 31st December 2000
Acadamh 16 – Players born between 1st January 1999 and 31st December 1999
Acadamh 17 – Players born between 1st January 1998 and 31st December 1998
Please note that only the name of the player is required at this point.
The aim of Acadamh Thír Eoghain going forward will be to actively coach skills. We have been working over the last three months to gather together a range of personnel with specific coaching skills to help make your players better footballers when they return to your clubs.
