Ulster ladies footballs top free taker will be crowned on October 3rd as the All in for Ann charity day brings to a conclusion a series of events. The memorial event in memory of former Armagh manager James Dalys wife Ann, who passed away last year after a long battle with cancer is fixed for Saturday 3rd October. The best ladies footballers in the country will come together to play in an Ulster against Rest of Ireland select at the Dromintee club in Armagh
On the night organisers plan to establish who is the best ladies free taker and Tyrone will select their player on Sunday evening. Emma Smyth, Elaine Donnelly, Eva McCaul, Dearbhla McDonald and Emma Hegarty all came through to the Tyrone final after an exciting shoot out at Garvaghey on Thursday.
All the participants clubs sponsored £50 with all profits go towards the charity. The competition will test each kicker’s capacity to convert free kicks from various angles and distances under pressure of time and Tyrone’s top five from Thursday will compete in front of a bumper crowd at Carrickmore on Sunday evening at half time in the Omagh Dromore mens senior football championship quarter final for the right to represent the county. The Tyrone GAA throwing their weight behind the charity as well.
