An Caisleán Glas launch their new club website
After eight months of development and numerous late nights, Greencastle’s newly developed website is now online, officially launched on Friday 11th February 2011. Nestled in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains, the Greencastle club has a combined total of sixteen football teams, a growing handball club and are actively involved in both the Scór and Scór na nÓg competitions.
Three Greencastle natives, Cora Fox, Dermot Devlin and Eoin Clarke, can take the credit for making this project a reality and they have created an excellent website containing live fixtures and results as well as picture galleries and history collected from the Greencastle club over the years. The site also incorporates the club’s handball and Scór activities, all linked to Facebook and Twitter, providing a single point of reference for the entire club.
Pat Clarke, chairman of the Greencastle club, said “communication is an increasingly important element in every club and our new website will provide us with an excellent way to share information on the club’s wide range of activities. I am very pleased
with how professional the completed website looks and it will be an invaluable source of information for the Greencastle community, both local and abroad.”
