Aodh Ruadh Ladies Support Uganda

The Ulster Ladies Football and Ulster Camogie Councils are, in association with Trocaire, raising money for their chosen ‘Women 2 Women Project’ in Uganda.
This unique partnership will link all Ulster Gaels, their friends and families with women and children in Uganda who so desperately need your help.
The Aodh Ruadh Ladies G.F.C, Dun Geanainn are showing their support of this worthy initiative by organising a collecting at Healy Park in Omagh before the Tyrone v Dublin National League game on Sunday 11th April were all contributions would be greatly appreciated.
It is hoped that the girls can help in some way to raise life changing funds for the ‘Women 2 Women Project’ in Uganda, which hopes to construct three water points so women and children will no longer have to walk over 5 miles to carry water for their use at home.  The project also hopes to train and support women in rural areas on how to access essential services such as health care and education as well as providing legal aid to assist vulnerable women and widows secure their Land Rights. It is also hoped the collection will help to support women’s Gaelic sport in Ulster.
