Award One Youth/Adult Course
Dates: 24th, 25th February and 3rd March Venue: Killyclogher GAC
The course will commence at 7pm on the Friday evening. Please note there only a few places remaining. This will be the only level one youth/adult course to be run within the County this year. All participants who successfully complete the course will receive both the award one youth and adult award.
Course fee: £60
Award One Children’s Course
Dates: 10th, 24th March Venue: Dean Maguirc College, Carrickmore
Please note that for a one off the level one children’s course is being made available for £40. The course is tailored to meet the needs of coaches who are working at U8, U10 and U12 level and who have previously completed the foundation award.
By the end of this course participants will be able to:
1. Organise a programme of games and skill development activities appropriate to each participant’s needs and abilities
2. Organise progressive activities (drills and fun games) to develop five key skills
3. Organise progressive activities to develop movement skills appropriate to Gaelic Games
4. Organise and manage players for an effective coaching session
5. Build Rapport, Observe, Analyse, Explain, Provide Demonstration and Provide Positive feedback to Players
