As those who attended the Club Tyrone night on 7 June will attest, the Garvaghey building is moving smoothly towards completion. Handover is scheduled for the early autumn, after which some final fitting out will be undertaken. That will be followed by, in this year of ‘all things Titanic’, the complex’s ‘sea trials’ and then it will be all systems go with the engine that’s been crafted to help drive Tyrone GAA on through the 21st Century. Tyrone gaels have been flawless in developing Garvaghey: our next, even more important task will be making sure it works to best effect. Again, that will be down to all of us!
