The fifth annual Carmen 10K will take place on Saturday 8th March 2014 @ 11am in Carrickmore. The main sponsor of the event is “Kelly Coaches” for the third consecutive year. The committee would like to thank them for their continued support. Other sponsors are: Oliver Corey Garages, Expert Financial NI, O’Kane Plumbing & Electrics Ltd.
This event is organised by the local Irish medium pre school committee “Náiscoil Cholm Cille. It raises the funds necessary to keep it operational. The unit needs up to £10,000 a year to be run successfully.
The Carmen 10K is a great opportunity to motivate and enhance your fitness levels and welcomes all abilities of runners, joggers and walkers. The local running club “Carmen Runners” support this race. Our course records belong to Steven Duncan in 2012: 30:51 and Breige Connolly 2010: 36:56.
A 5K fun run/walk is also available.

A pre-registration night will be on Friday 7th March 7.00pm – 8.30pm at Carrickmore GFC. You can collect your chip timing and race number in advance, or on Saturday from 9.00am – 10.30am.
There will be a technical t-shirt available for first 200 entrants.
