Classic Senior Final This Weekend

High scoring and quality forwards coupled with a sprinkling of current and ex county players will go toe to toe in what has to be one of the most keenly anticipated Tyrone senior deciders in several years. On paper there really is little between these two big hitters, St Macartans and Errigal Ciaran. Both have been front runners in the division one campaign although as the Macs have remained unbeaten, Errigal lost three, one of those indeed to Saturdays opposition ,3-13 to 2-6, league form though will not come into the equation this time out.
Seven time senior champions and the current holders of the Jarleth Kerr cup St Macartan’s are appearing in their twelfth final on Saturday evening but the vastly experienced Ryan McMenamin, the current Macartan’s boss will be well aware that their Clogher Valley rivals Errigal Ciaran will serve up a real threat to their chances of retaining the championship. Errigal keen to get their hands on the championship for the first time since 2012.
Saturday’s game is very much in the melting pot with potential match winners all over the park in both teams, experience and quality young players, we are in for a classic at Killyclogher on Saturday at 6pm
