TALK IS FREE AT CLUB TYRONE PRE-MATCH CHAT SHOW
There has been much talking done in the past week about Tyrone’s convincing win over Monaghan in the All-Ireland Quarter-Final at Croke Park with diverging opinions expressed on all matters of the game. That conversation is due to intensify in the days leading up to Semi-Final clash with Kerry at a specially arranged Club Tyrone chat show in Garvaghey on Thursday 20th August from 7.00 p.m.
With Tyrone Gaels having the wind in their sails with their County team’s march towards an All-Ireland a possibility, talk in the Red Hand County is a plenty in homes, on street corners, in the workplace and at church gates which has led Club Tyrone to respond by convening an evening of chat with a top line-up of panellists.
The event will be chaired by ex-county player Noel McGinn from Teamtalkmag who will be joined by three times All Ireland winner Philip Jordan, Armagh legend Jarlath Burns and Irish News and Irish Examiner columnist Paddy Heaney in what is sure to arouse much interest and debate just three days ahead of the game against Kerry.
In addition, the evening will recognise the first 50 Tyrone Dragons who have signed up with Club Tyrone to support the County’s new Acadamh Thir Eoghain (Tyrone Academy), the radical re-structuring of youth football development in the county.
Acadamh Thir Eoghain will develop young people in Tyrone as Gaelic players on a ‘skills, not drills’ philosophy and will operate at four levels; Under 15, 16, 17 and 20 replacing the former development squad set-up. Academy Tyrone will now become the new process for nurturing Tyrone GAA talent and is being driven by over 100 Tyrone GAA volunteers.
Admission to the Club Tyrone pre-match chat show is free and open to anyone to attend. Further information is available from tyronegaa.ie.
