Back at the launch of the Garvaghey Patrons scheme at the start of October Club Tyrone set a target of 50 private Garvaghey Patrons within six months. Just five weeks later the target has been achieved already.
Club Tyrone Chairman Hugh McAleer has been impressed by the response.
“When we set our initial target of 50 we felt that we could achieve it within six months. However the level of support that we have received has been excellent. At £6.7million the fundraising element of this project is understandably immense but we have made a great start and are looking forward to securing another 50”.
The Garvaghey Patrons scheme will receive a further boost in December when the new figures released to the County Convention on 15th December will include the Clubs contribution.
