Leading businessman and philanthropist JP McManus was the guest of honour at a Red Hand Business Club event on Monday at the Tyrone GAA Centre of Excellence in Garvaghey.
During his sit down interview with Thomas Niblock in front of a capacity crowd, McManus covered a range of topics including his beloved South Liberties GAA club (where he was chairperson aged just 21), Limerick GAA, the 2027 Ryder Cup, the Team Limerick Cleanup, horse racing and his journey to becoming a successful businessman.
To mark his visit to Tyrone, McManus presented Tyrone GAA with the actual silk and cap worn aboard Inothewayurthinkin when he won the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2025.
He also took the opportunity to get a look around Garvaghey with Limerick planning their own centre of excellence in the coming years.
