Coach Education Workshops

Please see details below of Ulster Council courses which are open to all Club / School and County Coaches to attend:

Thursday 4th December – Activate GAA warm up – 7:30pm – Garvaghey GAA Centre
Activate is a GAA specific warm-up for training and matches that improves movement skills and reduces injury. It is a dynamic warm up which includes the ball.

Tuesday 13th January – Spot and fix technique in football – 7:30pm – Garavghey GAA Centre
This is an indoor interactive learning session which is open to all club, school and county coaches. It will focus on the skill of freezing the play, asking the appropriate questions and giving the relevant feedback in order to improve the skill.

Tuesday 3rd February – An effective coaching session for football / hurling – 7:30pm – Garvaghey GAA Centre
This session is open to all coaches and is an indoor, interactive, learning workshop. It will focus on how to plan, deliver and review an effective and relevant coaching session
