Gaelic start, warm ups and grid games
This will be an indoor practical session, coaches are advised to wear suitable gear. This workshop will introduce coaches to the Gaelic Start programme and look at how to vary sessions so as to maintain enjoyment and to cater for the different abilities of all children. The session will move from station based activities to coaching through games.

Game Speed for Gaelic Games Athletes
Overview:
Understand the demands of running, plyometrics, game-speed and agility in GAA team sports and how they relate to various ages and stages of development.
Objective:
Warming Up for movement sessions.
A practical understanding of field based drills for speed development.
Foundational Concepts:
Drills that you can use that require minimal equipment but will get your players to run well quickly including skipping variations, stick drills and much more.
