Starting this weekend at the Tyrone v Dublin Allianz League game, is an initiative to promote the use of the Irish language at our games.
We have identified an area, on the terrace, beside the pressbox at Healy Park as “Coirnéal na Gaeilge”.
We are encouraging supporters who speak the language at any level to congregate in this area and to converse using the medium of Irish for the duration of the game.
We hope by identifying this area that people will welcome the opportunity to converse freely and integrate their native language into their social lives.
