Tyrone GAA wish to offer their Congratulations to CLG Naomh Colmcille agus CLG Éire Óg, An Charraig Mhór plus CLG Naomh Damhnait, An Droim Mór,  the three Tír Eoghain clubs that picked up the Bonn Cré-Umha (Bronze Medal) in the latest Gradaim Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha (Joe McDonagh Foundation Awards) for 2020. A fantastic achievement for both Clubs in the promotion of the Irish Language.
Info on the scheme- Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha

• CLG Naomh Colmcille agus CLG Éire Óg, An Charraig Mhór plus CLG Naomh Damhnait, An Droim Mór are the two Tír Eoghain clubs that picked up the Bonn Cré-Umha (Bronze Medal) in the latest Gradaim Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha (Joe McDonagh Foundation Awards) for 2020.

• Normally the awards are presented at a special celebration dinner in Páirc an Chrócaigh each year in the weekend before Christmas. Not possible in Dec 2020 due to COVID-19 but Glór na nGael and An CLG (The GAA) hope to host the 2020 award night sometime in 2021.
• Tír Eoghain have been very prominent in the awards Roll of Honour since the scheme began in 2017. Details are listed below.
• Damian O’Neill has been doing great work to promote the scheme through his job as Irish Language Development officer with Irish Language group Cairde Uí Néill in Coalisland  / Clonoe. Also operating is a special GAA Forum which is open to any club and there are 4 meetings organised during the year (each quarter) which assist clubs on their Irish Language journey via the Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha. Clubs also work directly with Glór na nGael Irish Language Officers as well.
  • Sinéad Ní Mhearnóg-Uí Ghéibheannaigh from CLG Naomh Pádraig, An Caisleán Glas is the Glór na nGael Officer in charge of the scheme for Tyrone and a number of other Ulster/Connacht counties.
