There are several elements of the Daryl Comac Memorial Tournament taking place this week.
First up are the ladies games that will be played on Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st August. The teams in group 1 are Coalisland, Aodh Ruadh, Stewartstown and Edendork. The group 2 teams are Moy, Clonoe, Rock and Donaghmore.
The boys semi finals will take place on Thursday 1st September. Teams and times are yet to be confirmed. These details will be posted as soon as they are available.
The next event in this busy weekend is the All Ireland Talk Night which takes place on Friday 2nd September in Killyman GAC. This promises to be a fantastic night with an unbelievable lineup that consists off Joe Brolly, Bernard Flynn, Kevin McCloy, Barry McElduff, Brian McGuigan and Mark Sidebottom. There are limited tickets still on sale, these will sell out fast so contact any committee member to enquire as soon as possible.
The ladies semi finals and final will take place as part of a ‘Finals Day’ on Saturday 3rd September. Teams cannot be confirmed until the group stages have been played but details will be posted when they are available. There will be a presentation made to the winning team after the final has been played.
The boys final will also be played on Saturday 3rd September as part of the ‘Finals Day.’ The teams involved in the final will be announced after the semi finals on Thursday. A presentation will also be made to the winning team in the boys tournament.
This tournament and associated events are very close to the hearts of the Killyman people and beyond so we would appreciate as much support as possible this week. Get out and cheer on all the lads and ladies in the remaining games.
