Red Hand View 2019 – Edition No.1 Preview
County PRO, Eugene Mc Connell speaking ahead of the Tyrone V. Mayo Allianz Football League and the Double Bill National Hurling League game Tyrone V. Louth stated the first Edition of the Award-Winning Red Hand View match day programme is once again a much sought- after memento of the games.
“The Red Hand View”. Edition No.1 a bumper 36 pages will include many of the now favourite articles which make the programme a must buy part of the match day experience.
Edition No.1 of 2019 new season has surpassed all the previous publications with an even bigger and much more varied range of content. The programme is packed with interesting articles, which once again includes features on every one of the GAA codes within our County.
As part of a big joint double bill involving both the Tyrone Senior footballers alongside the Tyrone Senior Hurling team who also take on the challenge from Louth in their National Hurling League fixture is a unique encounter in every sense of the word. The more user friendly A5 design is more compact and fits better in the pocket.
The Hurlers throw in at 12.30pm in Healy Park and included in the Red Hand View is a special feature on Tyrone Hurling. The packed publication caters for every aspect of the GAA family.
Articles include a look at the state of play for the Hurlers as well as an over view of the events and happenings in Camogie scene. In addition there is an up to date viewpoint of the Tyrone Ladies the reigning All Ireland Intermediate Champions as they prepare for their return to Senior Football with a preview on their opening League game against Cavan plus a special look back at Gemma Begley and her retirement from the Tyrone Senior Ladies.                                                                                                                                                          On top of this there are the usual popular features on valuing the Volunteer who in this edition is none other than Tyrone’s loyal servant Alan Richardson who has given so many years to Refereeing within the County as well as administration.
Another special feature looks at the recent elevation of former County Chairperson Ciaran Mc Laughlin to the position of Ulster Council Vice President. A round up of all that’s happening in Scór will have some exciting news.
In this edition of the Red Hand View there is an interesting interview with Tyrone Senior player Padraig Hampsey who lets us all see first-hand his opinions and views on the GAA and his progress with his recovery from injury.
A really special feature is contained within the programme looks at the Conor Mc Elduff Handball’s World No. 1 and Irelands first ever winner of the World One Wall men’s Open Senior Championship in Handball.
