E-Safety/Keeping Safe online training – Thursday 22nd October

The GAA in Tyrone has prioritised the safety of young people using Social Media as a key issue.
The county’s Health and Wellbeing Committee is working in partnership with the Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland to address E-Safety matters and Social Media concerns.
Clubs have their own roles to play, and can avail of assistance and training in order to help ensure their young members are not placed in danger.
The Tyrone Health and Wellbeing Committee has organised a training evening on E-Safety/Keeping Safe online and the impacts of Social Media in our organisation.
Health and Wellbeing Officers, Children’s Officers and Chairpersons from all clubs are invited to participate.
The event takes place on Thursday 22nd October from 7.30pm till 9.30pm at the Garvaghey Centre of Excellence.
