Tyrone County Board will be running two FUNdamentals / Gaelic Start workshop for coaches working with children aged 3-9yrs.
What does it entail?• The aim of this programme is to help parents and coaches plan and implement a Gaelic Start and Fundamentals programme in their clubs.
• The Gaelic Start programme will cover the first two stages of the LTPDP i.e. Active Start – 3 to 5 yrs. and Fundamentals 6 to 8/9 yrs.
• A specific programme of skills and activities have been developed on user friendly cards for coaches with little or no experience
Dates, Venues, and Times
Monday 3rd October – Riversdale Leisure Centre, Strabane @ 8pm
Tuesday 4th October – Galbally Community Centre @ 7:30pm
Both sessions are open to coaches and parents to attend, feel free to come along and be ready for a bit of light exercise and plenty of craic. Spread the word within your Club!
Both workshops are free of charge!
A number of Clubs will be selected to run out the Gaelic Start Programme in 2011/2012. Only clubs represented at either workshop will be considered for selection.
Please note that clubs selected for the Gaelic Start Programme must provide an indoor facility for the activities.
