On Saturday last the Tyrone U.14 Féile Finals took place in Dunmoyle, blessed with Glorious weather, a feast of attractive football was served up by all 8 teams.
First up were the Gr.2 Féile S/Finals which saw Tattyreagh take on Aghaloo and Aghyaran faced the challenge from Rock.
Following two very competitive games Tattyreagh emerged victorious while in the other game Aghyaran got the best of a gallent Rock side
The scene was now set for top class encounter and following an end to end clash the stronger Tattyreagh side emerged the worthy winners to collect their first ever Feile title.
In the Grade 1. S/Finals the draw threw up a battle of the Blues in the opening game when the reigning Champios Galbally laid their crown on the line against Dromore. In a tense game it was Galbally who held out to clinch a narrow 1 goal victory and reamin on course to defend their title.
The 2nd Gr.1 S/Final brought together a real lough Shore battle with arch rival Ardboe facing Moortown. At the final whistle It was Moortown who gained the bragging rights with a comprehensive win to reach the Feile.
The Final it’s self produced an epic all action encounter with very little between the sides and with football proving the real winner it was Galbally who held out to create their own little piece of History by winning back to back Féile titles and now go on to represent Tyrone at the All Ireland finals in Cork.
