Tir Eoghain GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee are organising their annual trip to Croke Park for senior Gaels on Saturday 27th October 2018.
The trip is part of the GAA social initiative which has been developed to make clubs more age-friendly by increasing the participation of older members of society, through organised events.
Clubs are being invited to nominate 3 people to enjoy a fantastic day out in Croke Park on 27th October. They will enjoy a full guided tour of the Stadium, a short film on the history of Croke Park and some of the great matches played there. This will be followed by lunch and then some time to enjoy the Croke Park Museum before making the journey home. Transport will be provided from four designated pick-up/drop off points :
Strabane- Melmount Chapel departing 8.15am
Omagh- Crevenagh Road park and share departing 8.50am
Garvaghey – Tyrone Centre departing 9.15am Dungannon – Donnelly Motors, Moy Road departing 9.45am
Clubs are being asked to identify 3 older people in their club for the trip. This could be a longstanding club player; the person who looked after the jerseys; groundsman; committee member; first aid volunteer; fundraiser or any other committed member of the Club over the years.
The cost to the club is £20 per person or £50 for three people.

Each nominee must be over 55 years of age.
