After unprecedented success with the small ball in recent years, Tyrone GAA will aim to take its next steps forward with the launch of a Five Year Strategic development plan for Hurling and Camogie.
With silverware already collected in the Nicky Rackard Cup, the Allianz League and at Underage level, the focus now shifts to the clubs of the county. In delivering this plan ‘Coiste Thír Eoghain will ensure that every child, and ultimately, every adult in Tyrone has the opportunity to play hurling or camogie with a team in their area’. Everyone has their part to play in realising this goal, we are convinced that we can achieve our target without placing a great deal of extra burden on the already committed Gaels in our clubs and schools.
All Ireland Winner with Offaly & Sunday Game pundit Michael Duignan will be among our special guests on what promises to be a memorable evening. It is hoped that all our football, hurling and camogie clubs will be represented on the night, as well as all of our post-primary schools. We welcome also representatives from our primary schools and indeed anyone with an interest in the promotion of hurling or camogie within the county.
Proceedings will begin with a reception from 6.30pm in the foyer at Garvaghey followed by the official launch in the auditorium at 7.30pm. It is anticipated that it will conclude at approximately 9.00pm.
We look forward to seeing you on the night
