Kathleen Treacy R.I.P.

We are all diminished by the death, after a long and so well-lived life, of Kathleen Treacy (née Tally), wife of our dearly-cherished Jimmy Treacy, among much, much else a past Tyrone County Chair, National GAA Trustee, GAA Central Council member, and founding Chair of Club Tyrone.

Kathleen gracefully lived her life enfolded within two of Tyrone’s greatest Gaelic families, and was a largely unseen but steadfast and crucially effective mentor, advisor and guiding light for so many others.

Níl sa bhás ach malairt beatha | Death is but a change of life.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Jimmy, Owen, Eileen, Cara, Mairead, Una and James, to her wider family circle, and to her many friends and associates.

‘Go mairfidh sí beo i measc Na n-Aingeal i saol nach dual dó cosc ná críoch | May she live forever among The Angels in a world never destined to end.’
