Killyclogher GAA Club launched their first 10K Road Race on Tuesday 3rd April 2012
The Road Race takes place at 11:00am on Saturday 19th May 2012 at the Killyclogher GAA Club rooms in Ballinamullan.
The launch was attended by Patrick Cunningham and Kieran Kennedy of main sponsors Strathroy Dairies and O’Neills Sportswear. Also, in attendance was Kay McGerty representing the Race Charity;The Foyle Hospice. Other launch attendees were Pat McCrory from the Club’s Fundraising Committee and Club Chairman Aidan Meenan. Killyclogher and Tyrone’s Dermot Carlin was accompanies by his Tyrone teammate Stephen O’Neill.
Experienced Runners who have previously run the route have commented that its flat nature leaves it ideal for potential Personal Best times. The race is sanctioned by Athletics NI.
