Tyrones fine opening to 2012 continued at Donagh on Wednesday evening. Gerry Moanes experimental line up beat Fermanagh 1-15 to 1-3 in the Dowd cup in blustery conditions. It proved to be another decent performance by the visitors and even at this early stage theirs plenty of promise on show.
Once again the Tyrone management made a raft of changes and new faces got their chance to impress. Experienced forward Gemma Begley hit 1-5 but new girls Nicola Donnelly, Hayley Ballard, Terri McCusker also found the scoring touch. Colleen McCullagh, Eimear Teague, Lynda Donnelly, Zoe Loughran and stand in goalkeeper Cathy Donnelly all performed well.
Tyrone play Armagh at Galbally on Sunday.
