Tyrone Ladies drew with Galway in the Bord Gais national football league today at O’Neill Park Dungannon, a late Galway goal sealed a 2-10 to 1-13 draw. Cathy Donnellys goal put Tyrone in control in the second half after a shaky start that saw Tyrone trail to an early goal. The visitors snatched the draw with the last kick of the game. It was however a much improved Tyrone display with Gormley, Begley, McGahan and Donnelly impressive up front, Quinn returning to the midfield with Donnelly and Teague and Woods having a steady game in defence.
