The Tyrone ladies will open proceedings at Healy Park on Sunday (3rd March) as they entertain Meath in the Tesco Homegrown National football league. After agreement from Meath it has just been confirmed that the game will throw in at 12-15pm and will be followed by the Allianz national league game between Tyrone and Donegal.
It will be a great opportunity for the girls, currently in need of points in the league after three defeats, to get off the mark with a home win in front of a huge crowd. County officials have appealed for Tyrone’s big support to come along slightly earlier than perhaps they originally planned to support the girls in this double header.
The counties hurlers play Donegal next weekend as the curtain raiser to the Tyrone Cork game.
Sundays action then throws in at 12-15pm with Tyrone V Meath in the Tesco Homegrown Ladies National football League
