Tyrone is a diminished place following the death of Katrina McCartan, cherished daughter of our so-committed and so-valued Tyrone and Loughmacrory Gaels Sean and Clare, and a central member of one of Tyrone’s strongest and most loyal Gaelic families.
An inspirational figure, Katrina’s winning smile never failed to spread to all who were blessed to meet her.

Our sincere sympathy goes to Sean, Clare, Ciara, Liam and Roisin, to Katrina’s wider family circle, to everyone who was honoured to call her a friend, or to meet her, and to the Gaels of Loughmacrory.
