The Minor Hurlers produced a much improved performance to defeat Monaghan 3-12 to 3-7 in their refixed Ulster Minor League game in Garvaghey. They trailed 3-4 to 2-6 at half time despite a very positive first half performance, and this form continued into the second half when they gained the momentum and ensured a good win. Goals from Sean Timlin (2) and Mark McCrory, along with points from Dwyer Marshall, Pauric O’Neill and Paudie Mallon were instrumental in securing the victory.
