launch invite - tyrone-page-001launch invite - tyrone-page-002A NEW Tyrone Gaelic Games quiz book will be officially launched next week and promises to be the ultimate publication for followers of the GAA in the Red Hand county.
Published by History Press Ireland and compiled and written by UlsterHerald journalist and author, Alan Rodgers, the book is jam-packed with all the questions you might ever have asked or wanted to ask about the county.
The book is divided into 35 themed rounds, covering after aspect of gaelic games from the history and breakthrough success of the 1950s and 1970s, as well as the glory years of the past decade or so.
There are questions for everyone – some are simple and straightforward, some a bit more obscure and others will really test you out.
With, of course, plenty more that you might never have thought of since you just don’t have the time to delve into the more obscure areas of results and achievements associated with the Red Hand county.
However, it’s not always the so-called obscure questions that trip up the fan who knows everything about his or her club or county. Not by any means since those simple little facts and figures or dates and landmarks can slip away just when you’re calling upon them.

Legendary corner -forward, Barry McElduff, will launch the book at the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey, on Tuesday March 31 at 7.30pm
