Derry 1-11 Tyrone 0-13
Tyrone seniors may have begun their Allianz 2011 League campaign with a one point defeat to neighbours Derry but there is much to be pleased about especially the second half performance. Brian McGuigan and Niall McKenna in particular hauled the Tyrone team back into the game following a five point half time deficit. Similar to last years All Ireland Quarter Final inefficiency in front of goal ultimately denied the Red Hands victory.
