Philip Jordan Abseiling for Oscar!

By damian Tue 14th Aug

Former Tyrone Star Philip Jordan isn’t a man who’s all that used to hanging around but that’s exactly what he’ll be will be doing on Saturday 8th September when he abseils down the Europa Hotel for the Oscar Knox Appeal.
Back in July the Tyrone Senior Football team wore wristbands in support of Oscar during the Kerry match.
As Philip says he’s been inspired by Oscar himself.  “I heard about Oscar 8 weeks ago and something about his story had an immediate impact on me. He is a remarkable young boy & an inspiration to everyone who has followed his story.”
“3 year old Oscar is from Mallusk, Co Antrim & is fighting stage 4 neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. He needs life-saving immunotherapy treatment abroad that costs as much as £250,000. The Tyrone senior team & management wore wristbands in support of Oscar during the Kerry match this year. He also has some Tyrone blood in him as his mother Leona is originally from Aghyaran.”
