As a result of the recent Cumann na mBunscol Skills tests which were staged at the magnificent GAA facilities at the Primate Dixon PS, Coalisland and at Garvaghey, the following pupils came out on top and will now look forward to playing at the mini games during the All Ireland semi finals and finals in both Hurling and Football in Croke Park later this year.
BOYS FOOTBALL: Diarmaid Gallagher (St Teresa’s PS, Loughmacrory) will play at the All Ireland Football Final
CAMOGIE: Eimear Colton (Gaelscol Ui Neill, Coalisland) will play at the All Ireland Hurling Final
GIRLS’ FOOTBALL: Morgan Devine (St Joseph’s PS, Glenmornan) & Maeve McCallan (St Columbkille’s PS, Carrickmore) will both play at the All Ireland Football semi-final.
HURLING: Kian Ferguson (Windmill Integrated PS, Dungannon) & James Grugan (St Columbkille’s PS, Carrickmore) will both play at the All Ireland Hurling semi-final.
Well done to all pupils who took part in the Skills over the two days and especially to Anne Daly, Tyrone Games Development Officer , and her team of primary school CountyBoard coaches who administered the skills over the two days.
