The Red Hand Business Club hosted a highly successful business lunch on Friday (21st February) bringing together over 160 business people from across the county and beyond in the Glenavon House Hotel, for an afternoon of networking and debate.
Sponsored by Musco Lighting, those gathered heard from Economy Minister, Caoimhe Archibald MLA, as well as Tyrone senior football manager Malachy O’Rourke and senior hurling manager Stephen McGarry.
Hosted by Lynette Fay, the lunch brought together business leaders and sports enthusiasts from across the county, who heard the Economy Minister outline her vision for driving economic development across the region.
Martin Haughey, Chairman of Club Tyrone, said: “We were delighted to welcome the Minister, and our senior managers Malachy and Stephen to what was an insightful and engaging afternoon. Their contributions highlighted the strong links between sport and business, and how lessons from the field can drive success in the boardroom.
“This event was a fantastic example of how the Red Hand Business Club can support and connect our local business community. We are also deeply grateful to Musco Lighting for their sponsorship of the event.”
The Red Hand Business Club, as part of Club Tyrone, continues to play a vital role in fostering connections and providing a forum where businesses can share interests, know-how and skills with the overall aim of helping to support gaelic games in the county.
