Rock St Patricks along with Sacred Heart Primary School are running a fundraiser School of Rock N Reels. Family show commences Thursday night from 7.30 in Galbally Community Centre. Main Show on Friday commences from 8pm.
Judge number 1 is our very own born and bred Rock/Slatequarry man, Ryan McAleer
Fr Ryan recently ordained in 2012, now serving his duties in the Dungannon parish is a valued member of the Rock and Slatequarry community he is also a past pupil of the sacred heart ps. Will father Ryan be the Simon Cowell of our judging panel on Friday night or will he be the David Walliams lol we certainly look forward to finding out.
Judge number 2 Catherine Sherry is a former Tyrone rose and an all-Ireland Irish dancer herself, she will certainly be looking out for our couples dancing skills but I’m pretty sure she will be looking out for that modern day dancing twist also.
Judge number 3 Mr Mark shields is well known and popular teacher in St Patricks Academy Dungannon. Mark is also widely involved in drama performances at the craic theatre Coalisland and actually writes his own plays. Mr Shields judging comments will surely be interesting on Friday night.
Judge number 4 last but not least is the very popular Mr Joe Brolly Irish barrister, Gaelic football analyst and former Derry Gaa player. I hope Mr brolly isn’t as sore on our dancers as he is on our Tyrone Gaa stars lol . We look forward to Joe’s controversial judging comments and no doubt he will be up for some light hearted craic.
