Tharla leathcheannais Scór na nÓg 2025 le linn clár imeachtaí an-ghnóthach de chuid CLG ag an deireadh seachtaine i nDún Uladh i gCoil an Chlochair agus sna háiseanna nua den scoth ag Na Pluincéidí, Cabhán an Chaorthainn.
The semi-finals of Scór na nÓg 2025 took place during a very heavily congested GAA programme of events at the weekend, in Dún Uladh Centre at Killyclogher and in the excellent new facilities at Pomeroy Plunketts.
In ainneoin clár an-ghnóthach de chluichí peile CLG, le trí chluiche tarraingteacha craoibhe do dhaoine fásta ar gach leibhéal le roghnú astu, níor léir go raibh mórán tionchair aige ar na himeachtaí cultúrtha, agus slua maith de chomórtóirí agus lucht féachana i láthair, comhdhéanta de theaghlaigh agus cairde na gclubanna éagsúla a bhí páirteach.
Despite the very congested GAA football programme, with three very attractive adult championship games, at all three levels, to choose from, there appeared to be little impact on the culture events with decent crowds of competitors and spectators made up from family and friends of the various clubs involved.
These semi-finals were very entertaining experiences for all involved from the long-standing clubs at Scór to the clubs that haven’t been involved for many years. All showed their skills, talents and natural abilities in abundance entertaining the crowds and all involved. Special thanks goes to the host clubs for the efforts made by them to accommodate the visiting clubs and their spectators.
We now look forward to the County Finals of Scór na nÓg to be held in St Joseph’s Hall in Omagh, hosted by the St Enda’s club, with the Tráth na gCeist competition beginning at 3.00 pm and the stage competitions beginning at 5.00 pm. This will be a great event with fifteen of our clubs, from all over the county, displaying their many abilities, in keeping alive the great Irish culture and heritage for the generations to come.
