Babhtaí Leathcheannais – Scór Sinsir Thír Eoghain 2023 began on 15th September with the first of our semi-final rounds taking place in Dún Uladh, hosted by Naomh Mhuire, Coill an Chlochair, where clubs participated in Rince Foirne, Amhránaíocht Aonair, Bailéad Ghrúpa and Rince Seit.
The second semi-final round took place on Sunday 17th September, hosted by Naomh Éanna, An Ómaigh, facilitating the Aithriseoireacht, Nuachleas and Ceol Uirlise competitions. Although participation levels were lower than would usually be expected in Tyrone, due to the impact of Covid-19 and the upcoming changes to the Scór calendar, clubs participated in all disciplines and a full programme will be fulfilled in the County Final. All participating clubs must be commended for their commitment and dedication in preparing a high standard of both individual and group performances in Scór Sinsir.
The county final will take place on Saturday 23rd September in Dún Uladh, with Tráth na gCeisteanna beginning at 6pm and all other disciplines to follow at 7pm. All clubs within the county are invited to encourage participation in the Tráth na gCeisteanna competition and to support performers participating in competitions as it promises to be an excellent night of entertainment.
Comhghairdeas leis na clubanna go léir a bheas ag glacadh páirte i mBabhta Ceannais Scór Sinsir Thír Eoghain 2023. Ádh mór oraibh agus sibh ag ullmhú don deireadh seachtaine.
