The 23rd February marked the beginning of the Scór Sinsir season for 2024 in Tyrone. Cill Dreasa hosted the first of two semi-finals of Scór Sinsir Thír Eoghain on Friday 23rd February at 7pm in St Joseph’s Hall. This was followed by the second semi-final round on Sunday 25th February, hosted by an Charraig Mhór in the Patrician Hall.
Coiste Cultúir agus Teanga Thír Eoghain would like to extend their sincere appreciation to both clubs and their willing volunteers for offering excellent facilities and welcoming competitors and supporters to their venues.
Over the weekend, a total of 13 clubs were represented by their members and the semi-finals saw participation in all 7 disciplines, which is a brilliant achievement for the county. The excellent effort on behalf of each club to ensure representation was evident and all clubs put forward performances of an outstanding standard.
Coiste Cultúir agus Teanga Thír Eoghain look forward to welcoming everyone on 10th March 2024 to St Joseph’s hall in Omagh for Babhta Ceannais Scór Sinsir Thír Eoghain 2024, which will be hosted by an Táite Riabhach. The evening’s events will begin with the Tráth na gCeisteanna competition at 4pm, with all other disciplines to follow at 5pm. It would be greatly appreciated if all clubs could submit registration forms for the Tráth na gCeisteanna competition in advance of 10th March.
