Coiste Contae Thir Eoghain extends its deepest sympathies to the Daly family on the death of Seamus, a member of the famous 1984 side that claimed the counties fourth ever Anglo Celt Cup.
During his playing career, he represented both club and county with distinction. Seamus was a key figure in the legendary Augher side of the 70’s and 80’s that collected 3 County titles and he was man of the match in the 1982 County Final victory over Dromore. He represented Tyrone at all levels from Minor to Senior and won Ulster titles at both Senior and Minor levels, along with the McKenna Cup.
A gentleman on and off the field, Seamus will be sorely missed by all Gaels in Augher, Tyrone and further afield.
