Tyrone 6-24 Cavan 1-14
A wonderful 3-8 from man of the match Conor Grugan helped Tyrone secure a first round championship victory over Cavan this afternoon. The home side put their poor league form behind them to proceed to ease to a 25 point victory. Midfielder Justin Kelly chipped in with an excellent 1-8 of his own. It is hoped that this victory will provide the foundation for a decent Ulster Championship campaign and and tilt at the Nickey Rackard Cup later in the summer.
