It is with deep regret and profound sadness that Coiste Chontae Thir Eoghain has learned of the death of our former Senior player Christopher Colhoun, (“Crico” to his friends)
He was a member of Tyrone’s Dr. McKenna Cup winning squad in 2007, who passed away this morning following a short illness.
A player for Pomeroy Plunkett’s, Christopher enjoyed much success on the field with his club, winning Tyrone & Ulster Intermediate Championships medals in 2004 and 2016 and competing in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Football Final in 2005. He continued to be a key figure for the club and was instrumental in their run to the Tyrone Senior Football Championship Semi Final last year.
All involved with Tir Eoghain CLG extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Lisa,(nee Mc Aliskey) his children Beth and Grace, his parents, Christy and Rhona his brother Stephen sisters Tracy and Kelly plus the Mc Aliskey family, his Pomeroy Clubmates and all the teaching staff and pupils at Donaghmore Primary as well as his many friends on Christopher’s untimely passing.
