Ulster GAA Coaching & Games confirm dates for the ‘Skills Coaching Programme’ in Tyrone as follows:

What the workshop offers?
Three workshops dedicated to breaking down and re building the key skills. Coaches will also be trained to deliver this expertise to other coaches in their Clubs.
Workshops:
Date: Wednesday 29th November 2017
Workshop 1: Kicking & Catching
Venue: St. Ciaran’s College, Ballygawley
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Tutors: Eugene Young & Stephen Beattie
Workshop 1: Kicking & Catching: – This is an interactive indoor workshop. Club Coaches will be taken through the coaching points of various kicking/catching skills. At the end of this session the coaches will know the coaching points of kicking and catching and be able to coach these skills through various activities.

Workshop 2: Tackling and Evasion
Venue: St. Ciaran’s College, Ballygawley
Time: 7pm-9pm
Tutors: Eugene Young & Stephen Beattie
Workshop 2: Tackling and Evasion: – This is an interactive indoor workshop. Club Coaches will be taken through the coaching points of various tackling/evasion skills. At the end of this session coaches will know the coaching points of tackling and evasion and be able to coach these skills through various activities

Workshop 3: Coaching the Coaches
Venue: St. Ciaran’s College, Ballygawley
Time: 7pm-9pm
Tutors: Eugene Young & Stephen Beattie
Workshop 3: Coaching the Coaches: – This is an interactive indoor workshop. Club coaches will be taken through tutoring skills and get the opportunity to practise these skills with the rest of the group.

It’s not too late to register – How to register?
If you are interested in putting the skills back into football and building a coalition of expert coaches within your club environment please contact me to register for this programme. Clubs are asked to nominate 1 club coach who will attend all three workshops to be upskilled, they can then help build coaching capacity within their own club.
