Tyrone GAA – Summer Camp Coaching Vacancies
Help us ….. Help the GAA in Tyrone
…and help yourself at the same time!
Tyrone’s 2016 Summer Camps are just around the corner. The camps will commence on Monday 4th July and will run for eight consecutive weeks. The summer of 2016 will see us run 52 camps around the County.
We require a large number of quality coaches, football, hurling and handball, to make our summer camps a success. All coaches who have completed their foundation level coaching award and are actively coaching within their Club are eligible to work at the summer camps. If you are interested in some worthwhile and well organised summer work close to home, then we’d like to hear from you!

There will be a training/information session for all those interested in working at the Summer Camps in the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey on Monday 13th June at 6:30pm. Only those in attendance will be considered for summer camp coaching. All coaches are requested to bring suitable gear for going outdoors.
The session will include a short refresher course on the GAA code of ethics, focusing on the ‘Duty of Care’ in relation to children attending the Tyrone summer camps and a practical session on how to best coach children at the camps.
All coaches must be Access NI vetted through Tyrone GAA, the deadline for completing the vetting process is Monday 30th May. Anyone who needs to be vetted is requested to contact Anne at the details below.
