Summer Camp Coaching Vacancies 2014

Help us ….. Help the GAA in Tyrone …and help yourself at the same time!
Tyrone’s 2014 Summer Camps are just around the corner.  It might be stating the obvious but summer camps without coaches don’t do a lot to develop the GAA in Tyrone!  The camps will commence on Tuesday 1st July and will run for eight consecutive weeks.  The summer of 2014 will see us run out a large summer camp programme, consisting of 55 camps.
We require a large number of quality coaches, football, hurling and handball, to make our summer camps a success.  All coaches who have completed their foundation level coaching award and are actively coaching within their Club are eligible to work at the summer camps.  If you are interested in some worthwhile and well organised summer work close to home, then we’d like to hear from you!

There will be a training day for all summer camp coaches in the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey on Monday 2nd June from 7.00pm -9.30pm. Only those in attendance will be considered for summer camp coaching.  All coaches are requested to bring suitable gear for going outdoors.
The day will include a short refresher course on the GAA code of ethics focusing on the ‘Duty of Care’ in relation to children attending Tyrone summer camps.
All coaches must be Access NI vetted through Tyrone GAA, if this is your first year of being involved in our camps please contact Orla at the email address below.  The deadline for completing the vetting process in Friday 30th May.
To obtain further details please contact Orla on orla.oneill.gpo.tyrone@gaa.ie or 028 855 67723
