Tyrone GAA’s ‘Drive for 2-Five-0’ Garvaghey Patrons is racing ahead of schedule. Launched just over a week ago, the sustained effort to recruit the ‘Final Forty’ Garvaghey Patrons has already brought 21 new Patrons on board.
“Tyrone Gaels never cease to amaze” Hugh McAleer, Club Tyrone Chair remarked. “But this response is up there with anything Tyrone has achieved, on or off the field. It’s just an inspirational commitment from people, and one that’s being made in the middle of hard, hard times.”
Only 19 ‘name slots’ now remain to be filled on ‘An t-Ochtagán Ghloine’, the iconic glass feature that will be central to the new Garvaghey building.
