The 4th annual Trillick Rockin’ with the Red’s festival takes place over the August Bank holiday weekend, 22nd-25th.
A GAA chat show featuring Mayo’s Conor Mortimer, Martin McHugh, ‘Banty’ McEnaney and John Lynch will discuss the up coming All-Ireland Mayo-Tyrone semi final on Wed 21st. The hugely popular fancy dress parade follows on Thursday night followed by a night of traditional Irish music in the Marquee, featuring many of our very talented local musicians.
Friday night is a local twist on popular gameshow Family Fortunes. 8 teams from around the locality will battle it out for a prize of £500 to be donated to their chosen charity. With over 40 local competitors and hosted by our very own Raymond Monteith, this is sure to be a great nights entertainment. All followed by up and coming country suoerstar Justin McGurk and the Boogiemen
Female Country singing star Lisa McHugh is the headline act on Saturday night with local favourites ‘The Whistin’ Donkeys’ returning on Sunday night to see out the Festival
The Trillick 5K/10K is also on the weekend agenda, open to all runners/walkers and keep-fit enthusiasts. The Run will take place on Saturday at 12 noon with Registration from 10.30am at the Hall. Also on saturday a free family fun day will take place from 12pm to 4pm at the GAA grounds.
