Tyrone 2-14 South Down 1-9
Tyrone senior hurlers secured a semi final spot in this years Lory Meagher Cup with a eight point victory over South Down. Playing into a stiff wind in the second half the red hands built upon their six point half time lead. Conor Grogan fired home a penalty in the 14th minute while wing half forward Cathal McErlain secured the win with another major from play in the 68th minute.
