Tyrone camogie held their annual dinner and presentation evening on Friday evening in Quinn’s Corner. There were over 120 players, managers and supporters in attendance. All Ireland Down medal winner of 2014 and Ulster Development Officer Lisa McAliskey and Tyrone senior manager Jacqui McKendry were the guests of honour.
All of the League and championship trophies and medals were handed to the respective clubs. Eglish took Post Primary and under 14 League and championship double. Edendork won under 16 league and Eglish took the championship. Edendork won the double in the minor section. In seniors Éire Óg took the junior championship, Derrylaughan the Intermediate. Eglish took the double with league and championship.
County under 14 and under 16 players awards were also handed out. Michalle McGready took under 14 Player of the year and Laura Mason and Rona Mallon took a joint Player of the year for the under 16 age category. All of the county captains were awarded a Tyrone camogie crested T-shirt. Ursula Jordan was presented with a Player of the decade award on behalf of Julie Lagan Tyrone and Eglish vice-captain.
Tyrone county board would like to thank all the players and supporters for all their hard work throughout the year. Josephine McKeown deserves a special mention for all the hard work done in preparation for the evening.
